MISSION
Liberia Medical Assistance Foundation’s (LMAF) is determined to bridging the health care gap by connecting those who have with those who hope to improve the quality of life of Liberians in the health industraties
VISION
The LMAF seeks to assist impoverished areas of Liberia in ways that foundations, corporations, community-based organizations, faith-based organizations and individual donors can share.
PURPOSE
Established in 2011, Liberia Medical Assistance Foundation is a 501(c)(3), non-profit corporation. The LMAF is a community based, Non-Governmental Organization (NGO).
Our Projects
Clearing To Build Clinic
The LMAF acquired a parcel of land to build a medical center that will cater to locals and other villages and cities. This project seeks to enhance the health needs of our people.
Clinic At Finishing Touches
With the funds provided by Mr. Napoleon N. Gbalah and with the help of locals, the clinic was built. The image above shows when the clinic was at the finishing touches. The project is however completed.
Donation to LMAF From Partner
Franciscan Health System at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, a healthcare institution, donated assorted medical materials and equipment to the LMAF, which donated the materials to the Liberia Ministry of Health.
Partnership With Patience & Wein Town Clinic
The LMAF has made several donations to clinics in Liberia. We partner with several local healthcare institutions to deliver services to the people of Liberia. Two of such partnerships are with the Patience and Wein Town clinics. In our desire to assist with the healthcare delivery to the impervished populations of our countries, the LMAF made two separate donations of medical equipment, materials and accessories in our efforts to boost the capacities the clinics and provide services to our people.
Partnership of Ministry of Health
The LMAF recognizes that healthcare is everybody’s busienss. Although the government of Liberia has responsibility to improve the healthcare delivery system – primary and tetiary – Liberians also have a part to play in the process. That is why the LMAF has done everything in its effort to ensure that it supports the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare. So, the LMAF donated assorted medical materials to the Ministry of Health.
